Very excited to have just sent off the artwork for Anna Hibiscus 4 (Anna goes to Canada)
will be published by Walker books in the autumn I think.
Lovely stories of a little girls life in urban Nigeria.
By the storyteller and writer Atinuke.
I have had the pleasure of Illustrating these books for a few years now and always look forward to seeing what she gets up to in each story.

Well landed back from a truly groovy Glastonbury.
Avoided steaming in an Orangutan suit.. met Prince Charles as you do at glasto.
Met some great people and saw some ace bands!
So…..
back in the room ……washing done and trying to sort out the colouring for the Picture book I am doing for Walker books.
I am very excited about it and I would love to blog it all…but no!
so many things going on at present …but I will blog them when they happen.. that’s the problem with publishing its a bit like an elephants pregnancy…….long.
anyway a bear picture ..not much else I can say.

It is really quite a challenge running an entire nervous system from a pickled walnut!

Holland

Just back from a short holiday.
and luckily turned a corner in Utrecht to find it’s where Dick Bruna lives!
and then wandered round a town called Harlem to find a comic book festival,
god how ace is Holland
may have to be my second choice for the world cup.!
I am aware that the world of blogging has been abandoned for a few weeks and I thank Mrs Googly eyes for the reminder, and encouragement ..without further ado off into another blast..
with short break for Glastonbury!
